For Floridians, winter and spring are much better times of the year to do a full roof replacement , in contrast with the rest of the country where winter is the worst time to do so.. In much of America, the summer yields the ideal conditions for homeowners to replace their roof if needed. But down here in West Palm Beach, summers are hot, humid, rainy and bring with it the threat of hurricanes. The primary problems are threefold as to why it's best not to do a replacement in the middle of summer: roofing companies are beyond busy with repairs, it rains almost everyday which ties into the first point, and it's so hot that workers need to take more breaks. So between less time working and rain, many projects do not finish at their projected timetables.
